Winter Sleepout | City of Strongsville Government
Anyone up for this? Our VFW Post 3345 will host a winter sleepout Feb. 11 to raise awareness of -- and empathy for -- the plight of homeless veterans.
It's organized by Ride with Valor, a non-profit group that helps veterans with their housing needs. The sleepout helps people truly understand what it means to be homeless. Cost to participate is one new or gently used sleeping bag. Participants are also asked to solicit sponsors to donate on their behalf toward RWV's Hearth & Home for Veterans program.
